The Machu Picchu experience is absolutely incredible, there is no doubt! Unfortunately, due to strike in the region of Cusco we weren't able to reach the spot early enough to climb on the Machu Picchu Mountain. We try to ask for a ticket swap in order to hike on a smaller mountain but the officials there had no intention to help us. That's a shame.

The climb up the mountain was very tiring, but more than worth it. There were only 15 people up there that day, and although we had poor visibility at the beginning (between 8-9 a.m.) because it was very cloudy, it was all the nicer afterwards. You had a great view of the ruins and could take nice pictures. And even when we were down the mountain, the special ticket gave us access to very specific areas that only the few people on the mountain had access to. So we would recommend this Machu Picchu + Machu Picchu Mountain Ticket to everyone.

Great tour of the Macchu Pichu complex, one of the wonders of the world. Note that the main mountain and the smaller mountain in the complex (Huayna Picchu) are closed owing to Covid. It is still a superb 2.5- 3 hour tour. If you are staying in Aguas Calientes, you can buy a round-trip bus ticket to get to the site, which is a long walk otherwise.
