The game is nice that unlike others I have played, you can start it from any checkpoint, and do the checkpoints in the order you choose, as the game makes a loop. Some of the English translaions are a bit rough, but it didn't prevent enjoyment of the game. We did have a couple of clues we could not find - one was probably due to the fact that we did the game during the Christmas market and the plaque on the ground we were looking for was probably hidden by a vendor or a decoration. Also, some clues require an internet search to find the answer. That's ok, but I prefer it when the information is able to be found without using internet. This game had all easy enough questions about Maastricht - no puzzles. Nice way to spend a couple of hours.

I knew about the Mergelrijk mostly because of the sand sculptures, but I was pleasantly surprised to experience their new attraction - the 3D paintings. It's super fun, not only for kids but also for adults! They are so well done, that you won't believe your eyes when you see the pics afterwards. Of course the sand sculptures were also interesting to see, especially the Nightwatch. What I didn't enjoy was the section with the dinosaurs, but I guess kids love it. Luckily, it's not very big, so you can go quickly through it and have fun in the other sections. I will absolutely recommend visiting the Mergelrijk if you happen to be in the neighbourhoud.

Super fun experience! Trying to strike the perfect pose so that you can see the result later on your phone! Very well done 3D paintings! You feel like a kid again! The sandstone sculptures were also very interesting! There's also a workshop room where you can make your own souvenir from sandstone and take it home. It's not easy to work with the stone but it's so fun!

The game was really fun and it certainly took us to some corners (beautiful little streets that are not in the front row) that we definitely wouldn't have gone to.

Was fun for the whole family. 1.5 hrs cave experience.
