You will be picked up at your accommodation at 4:30 am. You will then be driven to the starting point of the balloon safari. we pick up from any accommodation in Masai Mara. Please confirm where you are staying and we will collect you for the adventure. We dont pick from Lodge or camp in the far west areas of Mara West Camp, Mara Serena Safari Lodge and Neptune Mara Rianta Luxury Camp because they are very far from the Hot Air Balloon departure point

We started at the very early morning, our guide Francis was very friendly, professional and kind. We arrived at the place and waited for the balloon to be filled up in the middle of the savannah at sunrise. Then we started the fight, it was simple beautiful and magic. Peter the pilot is funny and made us feel very comfortable. Afterwards we had an amazing breakfast all together in the open wide savannah. Everything was beautiful, well organized, no rush, professional and with a friendly and welcoming environment. Definitely recommended

What an experience. Floating over the Masai Mara watching the sun rise. Didn’t see too many animals but that really didn’t spoil the experience. Loved every minute.

Full description

The first pink tongues of sunlight flicker across the skies as the hot air balloon fills, then rises. Suspended in a basket beneath the rainbow-colored canopy, you will experience a wildlife viewing adventure from an entirely different perspective. Your hot air balloon flight lasts approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes, drifting wherever the air currents take you, with ample opportunities for photography and video filming. When your Kenyan hot air balloon safari finishes you will toast your return to earth with a champagne breakfast, cooked wherever you land. Your hour hot air balloon safari ends with a transfer back to your accommodation at in an open Jeep for easier game viewing. The balloon safari driver will communicate with your safari driver where you will be picked incase you do not want to go back to your hotel

  • There are no height or weight restrictions
  • Daily departures are ensured
  • The small balloon allows a maximum of 8 people and the big balloon allows a maximum of 15 people
  • The night before your hot air balloon safari, a representative will visit you at your accommodation to provide a full briefing
  • If you want a private balloon safari without other clients, you can book this for 8 people

Staff was prompt and friendly. Views from the hot air balloon were amazing. Wish the tour time was a little later in the morning. We saw more animals on the drive back to the lodge than we did during the balloon ride.
