This was a well paced tour, but I was disappointed by the limited food samples provided. Lyon is the gastronomical hub of France so I was expecting more! We spent a long time in a silk shop (obviously with no tastings) visiting a market or somewhere that makes food would have made more sense. Value for money was quite low for this experience, I have done tours for half the price and sampled twice as much!

Our family of 4 really enjoyed this tour. We had our 20 and 16-year-old sons with us. I read the reviews the morning just before we were meeting up for the tour. I was nervous because I read reviews that indicated it wasn't really a food tour, and not to show up hungry. Jeremy must have made adjustments since those reviews. There were food tastings (savory and sweet) and they were well spaced out throughout the tour. Jeremy had lots of knowledge and enjoyed sharing it with us. Two of the food places he took us to, had specialists (shop owners) of their shops and provided us with education and history about their food specialties. We enjoyed this tour and would recommend it.

He brought us to different shops and we learned from two of the owners as they shared their expertise and food. The food stops were well spaced out. There was wine to go with some of the food stops. They had water or other drinks for those who do not drink alcohol. Our entire family really enjoyed this tour and would recommend it.
