Vincent was engaging and knowledgeable about the area and had deep history of Lyonese cusine. We broke break at a renowned boulangerie, tasted praline, some of the best charcuterie and the wine flowed generously. We got see the historic parts of and explore some areas we would have definitely not found on our own. Great experience.

From the Saint Jean District and the Cathedral, to Traboules and Bouchons Lyonnais, discover the best that Lyon's Old Town has to offer. Stroll along the pedestrian zone and see some of the best local artisans of the street. A UNESCO world heritage site since 1998, Lyon's Old Town has a historic flavour as well as passionate and modern chefs.  By joining this group you'll have the opportunity to walk around 'The Traboules', those secret passageways that are unique to Lyon and this area. You will also have the chance to try a 'Bouchon Lyonnais' , a typical restaurant, and to learn about the French capital of gastronomy as you try plenty of different foods. Vincent was a fantastic guide. We received info on the history of old town Lyon, received multiple tastings at shops in old town and ended with dinner together. Vincent was charming and knowledgeable and I highly recommend doing a tour with him. The only problem is that I was charged about $20 dollars more than was advertised and the reference number was incorrect. I called and asked for assistance but was told this was correct even though it was 160.16 euros and I should have been billed about $180. Instead I was billed about $20 over the advertised amount and though I requested a refund of that $20, that did not happen.
