Inexpensive, peaceful way to learn about the history and development of Lyon while getting a unique view from the water. Peaceful and easy. The tour currently leaves from a spot that has weekend(?) markets and right where you'd start your climb to the Basilica, so it's easy to sequence into your day.

Lucky to cruise on a good weather day so could be on top of boat. Excellent commentary in French and English. Great to see such diverse forms of architecture on both sides of the river. Some very interesting historical facts too. A good way to see more of beautiful Lyon ..... would recommend.
