What people are saying about Luxor Temple

Our driver for both days Youssef was excellent. Our guide on the first day Emad was great. He was a little talkative but you couldn’t help but be caught up in his enthusiasm and obvious passion for his work. He was very knowledgeable. The only real criticism for this tour was the lack of planning on the tour company’s side. On the second day our tour finished at 2:30 but the flight wasn’t booked until 10pm. Got dropped at the airport but we’re told we couldn’t enter until 8pm. Managed to change our flight to 7:45pm for an extra EGP600 and informed Gamal the tour operator of this. He assured us the driver would be waiting for us in Cairo at 9pm when we landed instead of 11 as originally planned. Our flight was late and we got in at 9:30. No driver. Contacted Gamal and got drivers number. Driver had NO IDEA of the time change. Gamal had NOT told him despite 2hrs notice. Gamal tried to blame the driver. It took over an hour for a new driver to come. Got to the hotel at near 12am. Bed end

I would recommend to have a private tour especially if you got limited time in Luxor. The company was really organized, I got a message two days before the tour about the pick up, detailed entrance fees for each temple we want to visit as I opted it to be separate. Mr Adel was very punctual, he gave us a very good tour with all his knowledge as an Egyptologist. We took the boat from West to East to save time, took a lot pictures, and we finished at 5pm. Lots of walking so be in a comfortable pair of shoes and with the weather - bring a hat with you. Thank to Mr Adel for making our Luxor trip a memorable one :-)

The trip was very well organized and enjoyable. The guides were very kind and made sure everyone was enjoying the tour. We booked the tour with all admission fees included and we only had to pay 10 EUR per person for the boat ride on the Nile to get to the lunch spot (you can also skip the boat ride and go by bus but we recommend to go via boat since it was very nice). Lunch was an open buffet at a restaurant, it was fine but nothing special. Nana was an amazing guide, very fun and knowledgeable! Overall we enjoyed the experience very much and we recommend it.

The tour from Hurghada to Luxor was incredible and one of my favourite parts of my trip to Egypt. The size and beauty of the temples, statues, and tombs were breathtaking. Thanks to our guide Nana, for making it such a great experience with her knowledge, story telling as well as energy and passion for the history.

The tour was simply amazing. We did it private and Mahmoud was always there to help us. Alaa from OceanAir was also helpful before the tour. I would recommend this 100% if you want to learn about and see all the historic sites in Luxor.
