Good points: • Ahmed, our first guide, was brilliant. We didn’t have him the whole time but he still kept in touch and made sure we were all good. • All tour guides were good - friendly and knowledgable. • Good itinerary - covered a good amount, and seeing things early and late in the day meant not out during hot hours. • Boat was nice, rooms were a good size. Sun deck was nice. Things to note: • Abu Simbel is a long drive, but worth it. • Very intense tipping culture. The smallest bit of help or information will warrant a tip. • All archeological sites credit card only. • Plenty of ATMs for tip money - just ask guide. • Some sellers intense - where sunglasses and don’t acknowledge them if you don’t want to be hassled. Bad notes: • Not many drinks are included (squash, tea and coffee at some times) - no water either. Water is overpriced on the boat. It was 40 LE for a large, 20 LE at some sellers and 6 LE in a supermarket - so top up at the shop.

The cultural treasures cannot be appreciated highly enough! On the whole, the program is ok. The somewhat heterogeneous cast of the travel team has to be described as a weakness. Very bad the smell of diesel from the cruise ships, harmful to the environment and health!

Pleasant cruise. Good meals. Good tours offered. The visit to the last temple is far (3 hours by road to go and 3 hours by road to return) for a fairly quick visit to the temple... it's a shame to do all these kilometers for so little time spent on the place.

The cruise was very good. The staff is very nice and helpful, the guide great but the additional activities are very expensive for what they are.

Everything was perfectly organized and carried out!
