We took a three day cruise and it was the best decision to visit the most important historical places in Egypt. We visited Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut temple, Kolossus of Memnon, Haby temple, Karnak temple in Luxor. All was amazing, especially tombs in Kings' Valley. Then we came on the boat, named MS Semiramis I. The room was not new, but it was very clean. The staying there was comfortable. The staff was very helpful and polite. All the food was really tasty. So thanks to all the staff for unforgettable cruise. Of course thanks a lot to our guides: Hassan in Luxor and Gabriel, who guided us in Edfu temple, Kom Ombo and Abu Simbel. Great unforgettable experience, wonderful places. We got so much information about history and culture of Egypt and we loved it so much! Thanks to our nice manager Marina, she informed about every next step and was so helpful. Absolutely recommend this company, our guides and Nile cruise.

perfect experience. Marina is an angel, very helpfull informing us about the next day activities via WhatsApp arrived on the ship MS Mahrousa around 1 pm where we received a nice lunch and were given some nice, spacious rooms. Next morning we left early to go visit the Edfu temple with our guide Gabriel. Gabriel is one of a kind, he knows a lot and is passionate about his work and loves to inform his guests about the ancient Egyptian history. After that we returned to the ship and headed to Kom Ombo. We used our private time to spend it on the beautiful upper deck with pool In the late afternoon we visited Kom Ombo with Gabriel, who again explained everything very well. We really leaned a lot from him, we were happy having him as our guide. After returned to the ship we headed to Assuan, and very early the next morning ( 4 o clock) we started our trip to Abu Simble. Gabriel again accompanied us and passed on his huge knowledge. Overall we had a perfect trip, couldn’t wish for more.

Full description

Take a journey from Luxor to Aswan aboard a 5-star boat that includes all meals and guided visits to some of Egypt’s most iconic and well-preserved temples along the Nile River.

Day 1

Start the first day of your multi-day cruise with a hotel pick-up from your Luxor accommodation around 7:00 AM. Before boarding your boat, you will go on a guided tour to the iconic Valley of the Kings in Luxor.

Visit and go inside the 3 most important tombs of the ancient kings, seeing the many inscriptions and hieroglyphics that decorate them. Next, be led to the Hatshepsut Temple, which is a beautiful funerary temple of the important queen of Egypt, whose political power changed the state of Egypt at that time.

Follow your guide as you continue onwards to explore the city of Habu to witness the Temple of Ramses III, one of the greatest temples of the Twentieth Dynasty. Snap pictures of the impressive Memnon statues and end up at the Karnak Temple, which is the most important and largest in the city of Luxor.

After your history-filled tour, you will be taken to board your cruise at around 1:00 PM, in perfect time to enjoy the first meal of your river journey. Once you have settled in, make sure to go up to the roof of the boat to enjoy the enchanting scenery. Watch as the small boats, Egyptian villages, and natural landscapes sail by.

Day 2

After breakfast, take a horse carriage ride to visit Temples of Edfu Horus. Marvel at these well-preserved religious palaces and the imposing sandstone structures of Horus. Return to the boat for lunch, before heading out once again to see the Kom Ombo Temple. Learn about the structures of the temple and why it was built in honor of two great Nile divinities.

Day 3

After an early morning check-out from the boat, take your luggage and grab a quick breakfast and before being picked up to visit the Abu Simbel temple. On this small-group tour you will also discover the temples of Ramesses II and Nefertari. These twin temples were built from the mountainside in the 13th century BC under the dynasty of Pharaoh Ramesses II.

Finish the tour around 2.30 PM and then be taken to your accommodation in Aswan.

Gabriel was an amazing guide and Egyptologist. If you want the best information about the places you are visiting this is the guide you need. He explained everything in detail. He is so knowledgeable and really spent time to explain he story of each carving and each temple and gave a thorough explanation about the hieroglyphics. He was on time and was very clear on his directions and timing for meeting at meeting places. It was so helpful that he was with us the whole 3 days of the cruise as some stories and information linked to previous visits the day before. The communication with Nice Tours leading up to and during the tour was also very clear and gave us a comprehensive itinerary for each day the night before. I would highly recommend booking this tour. hassle free with Cruise and Guide/Egyptologist already included and Nice Tours can even handle all the entrance fees for you if you wish.
