What people are saying about Luxor

We have just returned from the trip and I would like to write down my positive impressions straight away. Our guide Shaban made a great effort not only to fill this trip with historical information, but also took great care of us (cold water, tips for the dealers at the various sights and even snacks!!). We felt completely comfortable and were able to learn a lot about the various sights! (For example, the number system of the ancient Egyptians was shown to us with various images and then compared to the souls in the Karnak Temple). All in all a real 10/10 because I have never had such an attentive guide :)

The pick up at our hotel was very early (3:30) but once we arrived in Luxor it was definitely worth it! We visited all the important sights together with a guide who knew a lot. After a delicious dinner we went to the (neat!) hotel for a few hours of sleep. We were picked up again early but this time for a beautiful balloon ride at sunrise. Really amazing! After breakfast at the hotel we returned to Hurghada, the rest of the group had not booked the overnight stay and balloon flight, so we had a private ride back with our family.

If possible, seek shade, otherwise the trip will be difficult to bear. Overall we were all very happy with the trip. The tombs in the Valley of the Kings were particularly impressive. The dealers are very annoying, but the tour guide gave good defensive tips.

Everything was arranged tip-top, seen a lot and everyone was given the same amount of attention! The guide "Nana" was also a winner, super friendly and full of passion she told about the beautiful lakes and sights, recommended!!
