Full description
Enjoy a 50-minute hot air balloon over the Valley of the Kings, the world’s most important archaeological site, lit up by the changing colors of the sunrise. Watch as the balloon begins to stand up and board with the assistance of the ground crew. After a gentle takeoff, you’ll become one with the wind and lose the sensation of motion. Get lost in the tranquility of ballooning, disturbed only by the noise of the burners.   Take in breathtaking views of Luxor and all its ancient temples and tombs. See the lives of farmers and other locals as you glide over fields where people irrigate their land, gather crops, and care for their animals. To ensure all passengers have an equal opportunity to see and snap some amazing photos, the pilot will be sure to rotate the balloon during the flight. Finally, your guide will teach you the proper landing position and land expertly in an empty field or desert.

Ramadan & the team from Hod Hod Soliman hot air balloons made our trip unbelievebly amazing! They were so kind and kept us informed when we arrived into Luxor. In the air, Captain Omar described the sights and how hot air ballooning works. I would highly recommend booking with Ramadan @ Hod Hod Soliman!

Everything included: the usual bus rides, crossing the Nile by boat and a fantastic event in the sky. The balloons scatter depending on the flight altitude. Elderly people were helped in an exemplary manner. You definitely have to do this tour, even if it started at 03:30 from the hotel

Omar was an excellent pilot, keeping us below 400 m so that we could linger over the West Bank’s many sites. The basket holds up to 32 (we had a more reasonable 22) and people were very helpful and kind - assisting one another with pictures and taking turns at the edge of the basket. The balloon was safe and well flown with the gentlest landing I’ve ever experienced in a balloon. As for the process: they pick you up at your East Bank hotel, drive to a Nile dock where you are offered tea on board a boat. You wait for the other guests to arrive (5-45 minutes) before casting off and crossing the Nile to another van, which takes you to the launch site (10-15 minute drive). A stunning 45 balloons went up within an hour or so of sunrise on our day, and the launch field is chaotic to say the least. Hod Hod Soliman’s guides and drivers were thoughtful and efficient, Omar was a safe and excellent pilot, and we enjoyed our experience very much.
