Day 1: Start the first day of your multi-day cruise with a hotel pick-up from your Luxor accommodation around 7:00 AM. Before boarding your boat, you will go on a guided tour to the iconic Valley of the Kings in Luxor. Visit and go inside the 3 most important tombs of the ancient kings, seeing the many inscriptions and hieroglyphics that decorate them. Next, be led to the Hatshepsut Temple, which is a beautiful funerary temple of the important queen of Egypt, whose political power changed the state of Egypt at that time. And see one of the original pair of obelisk, the second of which now stands on the Place de la Concorde in Paris. After 20 minutes, arrive at the burial place of the Thebes kings, the Valley of the Kings. We had an amazing organized day. First we had a boat just for ourselves which took us around the Nile, the guide realized we loved nature so he gave us a proper treat by letting us walk on an island on the Nile to see birds and cows grazing.
