What to Expect
Following your early transfer from your hotel in Luxor to Luxor Airport, you will board a flight to Cairo. On arrival, you will be greeted by your Egyptologist tour guide and taken to explore the beautiful Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, Mykerinus.
Marvel at the Great Sphinx with a head of a pharaoh and a lion’s body, dating back to the time of Chephren and visit the extraordinary Valley Temple.
A trip to the Egyptian Museum will take you back in time to the Pharaonic Period. Displaying an impressive collection of 5000 years’ worth of art and featuring cultural artefacts, visitors will find this museum a rare insight into Egyptian history. Over 250,000 genuine artefacts are exhibited including an exposition dedicated to a collection of artefacts from Tutankhamen. Here, you will find a rare, precious collection of gold and jewels which was found in his tomb dating back 3500 years before it was finally discovered in 1920 when his tomb was excavated.
then it's time for lunch you will be transferrd to Local resturant in Cairo after we will then move onto Coptic Cairo to explore the history behind Christian and Jewish heritage with visits to the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue.
Finally, prepare to haggle and grab a bargain at Khan El Khalili Market, a bustling market located in the heart of Cairo.
