Discover the Aqua Tunnel in Luxembourg with a sound installation by Scottish artist Susan Philipsz. Listen to the artist's voice broadcast through 12 loudspeakers in different parts of the tunnel, evoking both the sound of civil defense sirens and the song of the Sirens.

Explore the 900-meter-long tunnel that runs through the Ville-Haute, linking the Pétrusse valley to the Pfaffenthal district. Admire the sound installation, featuring the artist's voice broadcast through 12 loudspeakers in different parts of the tunnel.

Listen to the sound of the sirens become alternately melodic, melancholic, dissonant, and haunting as it passes through the space. Reflect on your environment as you listen to the sound of the Aqua Tunnel.

It's nice to be there, but the experience itself is disappointing. Plus, to get the full experience, the whole group has to be disciplined and quiet, which was too much to ask and didn't work. The guide was very kind and let us walk back with them so we could experience it on our own.
