After purchasing the tour you will be sent a paypal invoice for payment. Day 1 - Pickup from your hotel or airport in Lusaka and drive directly to Livingstone the cultural capital of Zambia. This is where we drop you off to a mid-range hotel (included in package) where you get to relax and prepare for the next days adventures. Day 2 - 6 AM – Your safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in Livingstone and drive you to the park, 6:30AM – Enter the National Park You’ll enter Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park and begin your game drive. 8:30AM – Breakfast Stop After a few hours of game viewing, your guide will take you to a scenic spot for breakfast. Enjoy tea, coffee, and light snacks while taking in the beautiful surroundings. Continuing Game Drive After breakfast 11AM – Exit the National Park After your game drive, your guide will take you back to your hotel in Livingstone, arriving around midday. This is a great opportunity to rest, relax and have lunch (not included) before the afternoon activities. 3:30 Pick-up from your hotel in Livingstone by your tour guide or driver. Arrive at the boat launch area and board the boat for the Zambezi River Sunset Cruise. 4PM: The boat departs and heads upstream towards the Victoria Falls. 06:30 am: You will be picked from the reception of your Lodge/Hotel in Lusaka in a comfortable and air-conditioned transfer vehicle by our driver and travel tour guide. You will travel on Route (T–1) Lusaka – Livingstone; Zambia’s main tourist road (485.4 km) which forms the principal transport axis of Southern Province, the tourist hub region of Zambia. About 50 kms from Lusaka, you will reach a small road-side town of Kafue (its name is derived from the Kafue River, one of Zambia’s major rivers). This town has no major things of tourism interest worth a stop-over. However, you will cross over the Kafue Bridge heading south which is the second longest bridge in Zambia. Turn Pike junction: You will make your first stop at Turn Pike junction when you will turn and enter on the T-1 tourism route to Livingstone. Here you will take a short walk and interact with the locals. You will be given the opportunity to buy fresh bananas and apples. You then board the vehicle and continue on your exciting journey south wards. You will experience the true Zambian culture of this beautiful country along the way to Mazabuka. The vehicle will wind its way through beautiful landscape, passing through some green commercial farms, traditional African villages and schools along the way to Mazabuka. 10:30 am: Arrive in Mazabuka, dubbed “The Sweetest Town” in Zambia. This is because sugar canes that are processed into edible household sugar are grown on a large scale in Mazabuka. - You will simply drive through Mazabuka town without stopping. 11:30 am: You arrive in Monze around lunch time: - You will take your delicious lunch at any good restaurant. After that you will visit Family Safari private animal santuary located along the same T-1 road towards Choma to view some wild animals 01:30 pm: Arrive in Choma the provincial headquarters of southern province. You will visit and tour the Choma Museum. Thereafter, you will proceed to Kalomo town travelling by road down southwards on the original T-1 main tourist road of Zambia (The Livingstone – Lusaka main tourist road). 03:20 pm: After seeing Kalundu Mound, you will then arrive in Kalomo town, the first colonial capital city of Northern Rhodesia (now Zambia). 05:30 am: Day 1: Lusaka - At your Lodge/Hotel You will be picked from your lodge/hotel in Lusaka as arranged by our reservation staff. After being picked, you will then travel to Chipata enroute to Mfuwe, the main anchor village outside the South Luangwa National Park. The road to be used is good tarmac of good standard of a distance of 796.2 Km kilometers. A professional tour guide will accompany you to explain anything of interest that you will see. Narration: The road travel experience from Lusaka to Chipata is an extremely adventurous and exciting one that shall remain embedded in your mind for a long time 14:40 am: Still Day 1: Arrive in Chipata After travelling close to 9 hours, you will take a short break in Chipata where you will eat lunch before proceeding to Mfuwe. It is a popular access point for the South Luangwa National Park. After an hours rest, you will proceed to Mfuwe a satellite village of South Luangwa National Park, covering a distance of about 120 kms. 16:30 am: Still Day 1: Arrive in Mfuwe - Accommodation South Luangwa National Park has a wide range of accommodation options. You can choose an incredible, remote tented camp with outdoor showers, open-air facilities, and up-close and personal game interactions. Or you might prefer a luxurious lodge with a deep bath tub, formal dining room, and exquisite plunge pools. Day 2: Do your activities in the South Luangwa National Park 06:30 am: You will take do all your activities at your own cost in South Luangwa National Park as per your arrangement with the respective lodge you will be staying at.
