Stroll through the buildings and courtyards with your tour guide, gain deep insight into the history and the Shaolin monks life in the temple. Afterwards, you will explore the Pagoda Forest which is a concentration of tomb pagodas for eminent monks and abbots of the temple. There are more than 240 tomb pagodas of various sizes from the Tang, Song, Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties (618-1911), making it the biggest pagoda forest in China.  After your tour finished, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Luoyang.

There are 2,345 caves with 2,680 statues over 70 stupas and 2,680 inscribed stone tablets densely scattered along the cliffs on both banks of the Yi River. After enjoying a delicious lunch tasting local food in a well-chosen restaurant, you will move on to visit to Shaolin Temple situated in Songshan Mountain. This temple is honored as the cradle of Chinese Zen Buddhism and Shaolin Martial Arts, worthy of a visit if you are interested Shaolin Kung Fu. Follow your guide to witness real Kung Fu, explore the history of Chinese martial arts and visit the main sites such as the Hall of Heavenly Kings, the Grand Hall, the Sutra Depository, the Hall of Thousands of Buddha and the Pagoda Forest. Afterwards, your guide will drop you off back at either your hotel or the railway station.
