From Sarajevo: Private Lukomir Village 4x4 Safari

It was an overwhelming experience. The journey was an adventure and our guides Ibrahim and Adis were the ideal companions. We were picked up in sturdy off-road vehicles that were necessary for the journey. The highlight was the wild horses that we saw on the way there. The village of Lukomir is a journey into the past. The view is overwhelming. There are several opportunities to try traditional and authentic Bosnian cuisine, which we did. We also took the opportunity to buy mountain tea (9 different types of plants and herbs). Unfortunately, we realized that we didn't buy enough. Thank you Ibrahim and Adis for the adventure and the great individual service for our 2 different groups.

We were told we had a trainee guide but that did not seem like the case, Nido and Ibrahim were so knowledgeable and so hospitable. They allowed us to stop whenever and wherever we wanted (I absolutely must take a photo of every animal I see) and gave us freedom to explore while also providing so many interesting facts about the areas we visited and Bosnia in general. I was born here and I did not even know a fraction of this stuff! Their English is also amazing which made it very easy for my Aussie partner to join in the conversation. All in all, a 10/10 experience, and I would love to do more tours with these gentlemen in the future. Thanks so much guys! :)
