Embark on a relaxing cruise along the Douro River with the most breathtaking views of the banks of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. Over two hours, you will have the opportunity to pass by several monuments and landmarks of both cities, aboard one of our 15-meter sailboats (with capacity for 12 or 18 people). Note: The distribution of clients on the boats is done in random order, and no preference can be specified at the time of booking. We will not split groups. Departing from the Douro Marina, we will take you on a boat tour through the beautiful landscape of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. Along the way, don't miss some of the most emblematic landmarks such as the Arrábida Bridge, the old market (Alfandega), the Port wine cellars and the Luiz I Bridge. We encourage our guests to help/learn, but if you just want to watch, enjoy the meal and the conversation it's perfectly fine. We head from Marina da Afurada towards the beautiful historic area of Porto and Cais de Gaia. Passing the Arrábida Bridge, we start by serving the first wine of your choice and preference. Arriving at Ponte D. Luiz I, we serve a tasting board with superior cheeses, charcuterie, jams and assorted chutneys, fresh fruit, gourmet crackers, dried fruits, among other flavors that we can have such as olives in olive oil, or roasted chorizo… And at the along the undulating river and quietly appreciating its banks to the sound of good music, we head towards the sea. We can, if our customers so wish, change the wine to try another one of your preference, and we finish with Ruby, white and tawny Port wines so that you bring a complete sensation of flavors. Join us in crossing the iron Luis I bridge and exploring the southern bank of the Douro river, through the streets of Porto's underexplored sister city, Vila Nova de Gaia. There is much more to know and to see here besides the famous Port wine cellars. But, of course, you will also enter one of these cellars, to learn how this unique wine is produced and to taste two of its varieties, one white and one red. In this tour you will see all 6 bridges which connect Porto and Gaia, being able to take stunning pictures of them and of the colorful houses of Porto's Ribeira. Then, once you are in Gaia, you will know why the Monastery of Serra do Pilar is unique in the world, and how it was used to lay siege to Porto for over a year during the Portuguese Civil War. After enjoying some of the best views of Porto from Jardim do Morro, you will descend through Gaia's streets, discovering masterpieces of architecture and urban art, such as Half Rabbit, by Bordalo II, or the XVIII century church of Santa Marinha, by Nassoni. In the end, you will enter into a Port Wine cellar, discovering how this delicious wine is created in a guided tour inside the cellar, and ending the experience with a tasting of 2 Port wines.

Astonishing views of the bridges, would recommend anyone visiting Porto - could be for your first-day event to know the beautiful place from a different angle.

Fantastic boat, excellent crew and a good way to see some of the sights from the water. Weather wasn’t brilliant but cover meant we could still go out.

It was a wonderful boat ride with amazing sights! Learning about some of the history was enjoyable as well.
