Your guide will pick you up at your hotel, and together you’ll make your way into central Lucerne. Enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the city center across the Reuss river, and admire the surrounding mountains. Continue towards the wooden Chapel Bridge, a 200-meter long pedestrian crossing, and learn the history of this beautifully painted bridge.   Discover the car-free inner city circle and the old town, filled with 16th-century buildings. Walk across the Spreuer Bridge and take a coffee break along the Reuss river. After the break, continue along the city wall, built for defensive reasons in the 14th century. End your city tour by the Lion Monument, a rock relief commemorating the massacres of Swiss Guards during the French Revolution.   Your tour guide will then lead you to the boat station, where you’ll board a panoramic yacht and sail out on to Lake Lucerne. Listen to the audio headset commentary during the cruise, or ask your guide about the mountains, houses, and other sights along the shore. After the 1-hour boat tour, you’ll return to Lucerne, where your guide will drop you off back at your hotel.
