Hike through Central Switzerland with experienced guide Bruno Pfeuti and experience an adventure that goes above and beyond.
What to Expect
As a longtime member of the Swiss Alpine Club and a keen cyclist, Bruno Pfeuti knows the Swiss mountains and the most beautiful places to spend the night.
Depending on the route, you'll need to be sure-footed and should not have a fear of heights. The distance of the ascent and descent will be mutually agreed upon, and guests in good to excellent shape are sure to get their fill of hiking. Cross majestic mountain passes and traverse the ridges, with the potential for summit climbs as well. You will also often get the chance to spot animals on the mountainside.
The most important hiking destinations in the region are the Pilatuskette, Rigi, Wildspitz, Walenstöcke, and Surenenpass. The nearly car-free pre-alpine roads like Gätterli, Ächerli, or Hilferen will invite you to clamber up by bike. In winter, the impressive cross country skiing trail from Andermatt to Gomstal entices.
After booking, you will have a consultation to discuss options for extensions, levels of difficulty, meeting point and start time, overnight accommodations, deferral dates, and alternative programs in the event of precarious weather conditions. Other topics include an equipment list (for cabin stays a sleeping bag liner is required), travel tips, and advice on maps.
For a third day for 1-2 people, an additional charge of 240 CHF cash should be paid after the start of the tour.
