It was an amazing and fast journey to the top of Mt. Pilatus. We read to check transport time tables before we left and it was a good thing we did! It was nice to have all our fares covered with one purchase but navigating time tables meant we had to keep moving very quickly to get to the ferry back. Doing it over we could have left much earlier in the day to start and had more time on the mountain.

Very good overall. I chose not to use a guide experience so did at our leisure. Asked to make sure we had the correct bus to Kriens. Bus drivers so very nice. Had 2 disabled parents with walking canes so the bus driver told us to get on another bus after his that would take us directly to the gondola station. Much easier for them. After that everything went smoothly. Was an excellent day

This self guided tour was mostly great. It includes all the things it says, but it’s a little tricky to navigate around, especially at the start. Mt. Pilatus itself was wonderful! We took the gondola up and stopped half way to ride the toboggan (not included, but recommend). Then completed the trip up to the peak. The views were spectacular! Be timely if you don’t want to miss the cable car. It’s limited capacity and the wait is long. We barely made it to the last boat because we didn’t fit in the initial cable car we lined up for on the way down. The boat ride was fantastic. You really are only paying for transport. Does not provide anything else. But I think it was worth it!
