Your 10-hour excursion begins with a scenic coach journey from Lucerne, along the Brünig Pass and the shores of Lake Brienz to the Bernese Oberland. After a break in Interlaken, board the cable car at the Grindelwald Terminal for a spectacular 15-minute ride to the Eiger Glacier. From there, change to a cogwheel train that will take you to the peak of Jungfraujoch. From the top of Jungfraujoch, you’ll marvel at the High-Alpine wonderland of ice, snow, and rock. Experience the Alpine Sensation adventure tour, marking the 100th anniversary of the Jungfrau Railway. Visit the Sphinx Observation Terrace and Plateau for breathtaking views of the Aletsch Glacier. Long bus ride but we knew about this. The experience up top was incredible! unfortunately I got Altitude sickness pretty bad but our guide warned us this may happen. Even with the altitude sickness I thought the whole experience was fantastic and I'd do it again!

What an experience! Tour ran like a well oiled machine. Guides were great. Unfortunately for us the weather was terrible (but the guides can’t control that!). We can still say we made it up the Swiss Alps!! I got quite bad altitude sickness, so if you are prone to sea/motion sickness, I would recommend getting some medication before going if possible.

The tour had to take people from 3 locations before finally reaching the location. It was a long bus ride. But the views from the top made up for it. The ice cave and glacier walk was the most memorable. There are many photo points where you get to take the perfect tourist photos.
