This was an enjoyable day tour that is worthwhile doing when in Luang Prabang. Lunch was a buffet at the elephant conservation park, with a good variety of local and western food. The amount of time at each stop about right. The price of the tour was good value for money. It was a small group tour of 15 people in a minibus. My only criticism is that we did not get much information from the guide.

What people are saying about Luang Prabang

The trip to the waterfalls was definitely worth it, although I would not go there again with the tuk tuk, it brings no added value compared to a van. We were there at 10am and there were few other tourists there, you couldn't swim, the water was just too cold for that. On the way back we visited an unscheduled Buffalo farm, a brilliant project, absolutely worth seeing !!!

It was an amazing day. Really enjoyed it. The hiking from the village in the Mountain to the cave and Water Spring is a bit harder than the last Part, but really beautiful. My Guide was young but he told me a lot of the Lao Life, the plant s and much more. I really recommended.

Tour guide was very good at providing information about sites we were going to, looking after everyone as there were 2 groups as they were one guide short. Lunch was delicious.

Top notch. A hell of a lot packed into the day, but didn't feel rushed or overwrought. One of the better tour type things I've been on actually, and our guide Oddy was great.
