A great day with our guide Chai. Bikes, helmets and water were provided and the bikes were in good working order which made for a great riding experience. The route was about 30km, both tarmac and gravel. There was one steep hill on the gravel but was early in the ride. (If you’re not that used to riding you might find it challenging). Some great views and stopping in some small villages along the way. Chai was fun, chatty, informative and paced the ride to the groups ability. We were able to shower after the ride and they were good. Followed by a nice buffet meal before transport back to our hotel in Luang Prabang (they’d also picked us up). I’d recommend this tour if you like cycling and want to see a bit more outside Luang Prabang.
Amazing tour with an amazing guide! We spent 3 hours cycling, and our guide was always ready to help whenever needed and kept an eye on the entire group. Then, we had 2 hours of kayaking to the caves, followed by an absolutely stunning sunset on a long boat along the Mekong River. Highly recommend it to anyone who isn’t afraid of an action-packed day!
