Admire its unique blend of Laotian and French Beaux-Arts Architecture. Drive to the Wat Xieng Thong Temple, a monument to the Laos spirit of religion, royalty, and traditional art. Along the way to the temple, admire the stunning Colonial Architecture. Explore the opulent architecture, and breath-taking art within the monastery– one of Luang Prabang’s most historically significant temples. Visit the Ock Pop Tok Living Craft Center. Learn about the fascinating world of Lao textiles and handicrafts. Stop at the UXO Lao Visitors Center. Watch documentaries about Laos history during the Vietnam War, focusing on the bombing campaign on the country– Laos is per capita the most heavily bombed country in the history. Had one of the best tour guide in a long time ( and i travel to 3 to 4 countries per year). If you can request Oun, he is very knowledgeable, friendly, sarcastic (in a very positive way) and excellent level of english

Ein wunderbarer Überblick mit dem Tuk-Tuk über Tempel, Museen und kulturelle Einrichtungen. Der Tourguide gab gute Hintergrundinfos. Der Zeitplan war perfekt, so dass man genug Zeit für alle Einrichtungen hatte.
