Amazing! this was the best thing I did on my travels. It was such an honour to be invited to someone's home and to experience the ceremony. Everyone was so friendly, the cooking class was fantastic and the food was delicious. You learn so much about Lao people, traditions, culture, religion and food. The performance was also fantastic. I highly recommend

The most incredible tour experience I have ever had. I participated in the evening baci ceremony and cooking class and cannot recommend it more. Somsay picked me up from my hotel, brought me to a local market, and then to the beautiful dinner location where his family welcomed me to a baci ceremony and his wife taught me to prepare a delicious traditional meal. The Wander Laos experience is truly unique and special and I can’t recommend Somsay’s company enough. Support this incredible small business!

A sensational evening that started with an eye opening trip to the local market. We were warmly welcomed with a Baci Ceremony : singing : blessings : snacks and whiskey shots. Followed by a fun weaving class then onto the cooking class and the delicious meal. We finished up with some more Music and a personal lesson on how to play the instrument. All the hosts made us feel really relaxed and welcome. Lots of laughs, and a huge meal. There was plenty of food to share from soup, salads, stir fry, fish and pork cooked in banana leaves, finishing with sticky rice, coconut milk and mango. All tastes were catered for, spicy or not, vegetarians and meat lovers alike. Absolutely recommend this experience. Turns out I am hopeless at weaving but might get a gig playing the instrument.
