Your guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Łowicz region (about 1 hour from Warsaw). Visit the ethnographic park with its wooden, colorful houses which housed Polish peasants in the 18th and 19th century, and a reconstruction of a typical Polish village. After this hands-on experience, enjoy a traditional Polish lunch in a classic local restaurant. Then, walk along the alleys of a large 18th-century garden with picturesque ruins and small buildings. The garden is called Arkadia and was created for Helena Radziwiłł, who you will hear more about on your next stop: the palace of Nieborów.  See works of art, beautiful furniture and portraits of Polish kings and aristocrats. During the tour you will see: Zelazowa Wola – the place of birth of Frederic Chopin. Put yourself in little Frederic’s shoes while strolling down the hallways of his old home. The exhibition includes lots of valuable memorabilia from the Chopin family, including an original Playel piano. If you are lucky, you may hear the live piano concert on Sunday afternoons (from May to September). The mansion is situated on the river Utrata and surrounded by a picturesque park. Brochow – fortified church. The current exterior church was created during the reconstruction in 1665. The church was built of red brick and is one of the most valuable examples of  ‘defensive’ architecture in Poland. Here Frederic’s parents – Nicholas Chopin and Tekla Justyna Krzyżanowska were married and Frederick was baptized. Lowicz - This small town is known for its triangular market square, the only one in Poland and one of three in Europe. Just next to the market square lies a cathedral from the 17th century and Lowicz Museum, which displays a rich collection of wooden sculptures, colorful costumes and paper cuts. In Lowicz, traditions are still alive. With a little luck, you can even meet women dressed in traditional folk costumes! Maurzyce – etnographic park. Discover Polish folklore just outside Lowicz. Maurzyce Etnographic Park gives you an opportunity to see villages characteristic of the 19th century. Admire genuine buildings with stunning furnished interiors and interesting buildings: a school, stable and huts.
