La Palma: Guided trekking tour Springs Marcos y Cordero

2. La Palma: Guided trekking tour Springs Marcos y Cordero

After an amazing transfer by 4×4 on tracks in poor condition, we arrive at the Casa del Monte, 1,300 metres above the sea. And from here, with helmets and torches, we discover a spectacular environment full of lush vegetation that runs along the old canal. You will walk along one of the most special paths on the island (PR-LP 6) which crosses through thirteen narrow tunnels until it reaches the Marcos and Cordero springs. But first you have to cross the water tunnel, where no one escapes a refreshing shower. Once you leave the last spring behind, you start a steep descent through the Barranco del Agua ravine. The path penetrates the laurel forests until it ends at Los Tilos. Please note that this hike is very demanding from La Casa del Monte to Los Tilos, not suitable for everyone as there is a large negative slope, so being in good physical condition is very important.

An unmissable experience if you come to the island of Gran Canaria, in a single walk in the green of the island, it mitigates with the knowledge of the territory with history, myths and legends. The path we took immersed in nature is something spectacular and unforgettable even the swim in a natural pool inside the woods. Also excellent lunch with the products of the earth that they give at lunch time. The staff welcome and very nice, always playful (obviously in the good sense) in telling the length they take you they put their heart and joy into it ♥ ️ I thank the guides again for their welcome, I hope to return one day

Unbelievable. Marina (French) and Victor (Spanish) were great. We learned a lot about the Canaries and more particularly about the barranco (canyon) of Azuaje, its history, and its delicious fruits that we had the pleasure of tasting in an intimate setting. A bit sporty activity (there is a bit of climbing and you have to show a little balance to pass over small makeshift wooden bridges or on stones) but which is really worth the detour.

A very good experience, gained a lot of knowledge. Gained a good insight into how the local people live and the history. The guide was very passionate, and very helpful and flexible. Everything well indicated in advance, clear communication. Not only attention for the tour but also for the people who participate in it

Echt de moeite om te doen, verrassende en vooral prachtige natuur, leuke weetjes tijdens de tour en sublieme guidsen. Thank you Angélica & the funny guy whose name I unfortunately forgot (but thanks a Lot for the very well done pics) Besos, Daria
