The 2-hour Wilshire Boulevard Segway Tour takes you to one of the principal east-west arterial roads in Los Angeles. Named for Henry Gaylord Wilshire, an Ohio native who made and lost fortunes in real estate, farming, and gold mining, the boulevard was initiated in the 1890s when Wilshire cleared out a path in his barley field.
Running for 15.83 miles from Grand Avenue in downtown Los Angeles to Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica, Wilshire Boulevard is densely developed throughout most of its span. It links 5 of LA’s major business districts and Beverly Hills, where the world's most luxurious boutiques are found, and where you’ll head on this tour.
Glide by the glittering shops of Rodeo Drive and beneath the towering glory of its great hotels and famous buildings.
