Marina Del Rey: Kayak and Paddleboard Tour with Sea Lions

This was a great adventure. We saw only 2 sea lions up close sleeping and one jumping on the the boat to have some bed time. My friend requested the kayak however she was given the paddleboard which in the end was fine as she managed to swim on it. There was no training given so please keep in mind that you have to have some basic knowledge. The pace could be slower, as we stayed a bit behind of the guide and we were missing a longer break to chill and rest for few min. All in all 2 hours were a good workout!

Our guide Walker was just great with lots of info about the sea lions and the boats. We didn't realize we were going to be paddling inside a marina which made for easy paddling. But just different than we thought the photo depicted. Looking now it does look like a dock.

Excellent tour through the marina. We got to see a handful of sea lions and enjoy a nice day on the water. Walker was an exceptional tour guide that helped us understand the equipment and feel safe the entire time. I brought my 60 year old parents and they were able to easily navigate the waters on a tandem kayak
