Full description

Inspire the explorer in you and take part in a rock-climbing experience you’ll never forget. Begin your adventure in Malibu, a city west of Los Angeles known for its stunning beaches and spectacular coastal views. Meet your instructor and small group at Point Dume where you start your rock-climbing excursion. This is a great place to start if you are a beginner in rock climbing and want to experience it in a small group. Outdoor rock-climbing has never been made so easy and fun. Have a crash course introduction on skills and techniques including rock climbing safety, different techniques, rock climbing rappelling, and more led by your experienced and certified instructor.  Enjoy amazing climbing and breathtaking views by the beach. All equipment and gear are provided: climbing shoes, harness, helmet, and chalk bag.

Please meet at Westward Beach Rd, Malibu, CA 90265. Pay for beach parking and drive all the way to the end of the road to the parking lot. Look for a yellow FJ Cruiser with Rock n Rope stickers on it. Please call 310 975-4049 if you have any questions and the guide will meet you.

  • All instructors are certified by the nationally recognized Professional Climbing Guides Institute (PCGI)
  • Have someone watching over your safety and guiding you, but you will ultimately be in charge of figuring out how to reach the top of the rock that you're climbing
  • There is a ratio of 4 climbers per guide
  • Upon arrival at the meeting point, you will be required to sign a waiver
