Our guide/driver was born and raised in LA and his familiarity with the city felt like we were getting the best insider’s tour. He hit all the classic highlights of LA, pointing out the various iconic landmarks and historic thoroughfares. The Parlor Car is the only tour company currently permitted to take passengers up to the top of the Hollywood Hills. What a view from the top! We were able to get out and take pictures. Other pit stops included the Beverly Hills sign, The Farmers Market and a special stop at Two Rodeo Drive. We were fortunate enough to have the entire car to ourselves on our tour day so it felt extra special. This tour will appeal to those who want to see the sights but perhaps have some issues with walking. At 3 hours, it’s not suited for younger children with limited attention spans. Also, this is a tour with an historical focus and not at all a celebrity tour just in case that’s what you’re looking for. Overall we had a great time on our tour and got to see LA!
