We were running late and emailed the site to let them know. When we arrived, our guide, Paul, was waiting and had been informed that we would be late. He was so friendly and informative! The tour took us around Griffith Park and by the Greek Theater. After hearing about it, we all decided we'd like to see a concert there. We learned about the history of the park, as well as Mr. Griffith and his colorful story! We toured a beautiful neighborhood and saw houses of celebrities. There was a lot of walking, but the steepest part was right at the beginning, and if my old self can do it, you can too! We ended the tour at the observatory, where we parted ways with our guide, looked around at the interesting exhibits, got some water, and took a Lyft back to our hotel. The whole tour was about 2.5 hours because we stopped to take pictures and talk. Our 10:00am tour (again, we arrived around 10:20) had us back to the hotel by 1:00pm. Definitely worth it! I would highly recommend this for natives!

Matt and Chris were nothing short of amazing! My 18 year old nephew…history buff and lover of facts…was in his element with these guys. The neighborhood walk was an unexpected treat for sure and their knowledge of the neighborhood and its architectural history made the walk even more interesting. Matt’s attention to detail held my nephew’s attention for the entire two hours. These guys exceeded our expectations and made this hike THE highlight of our stay in LA!

Our tour was with Chris and his dog Oden. Chris can tell historical tales very well and kept us thoroughly engaged with both current issues and the intriguing tales of the past in the area. He modified our hike since my husband was not feeling well and we still did not miss seeing the house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. We both highly recommend this tour.
