Planning Your Visit

  • When to visit Los Angeles?

The best time to visit the city is in the summer. From June into September there's plenty for tourists to do. Perfect beach weather and good temperatures all day long.

  • How to get around?

Los Angeles has a good public transport system for some of the city, but not all of it. In the more tourist-friendly areas, you can hop on and off of metro buses, DASH buses, and metro rail trains. But if you want to see the city for yourself and cover more ground around the beach areas, why not rent a car?

  • Where to stay?

If you're looking for somewhere that's not too expensive, then head to the downtown area. You'll find some great hotels that are well-connected to the city, but not so close to some attractions. West Hollywood is another good, but more expensive choice. Or why not book a stay at the beach in Santa Monica?

Our day started off by not getting there on time. I called ahead to let them know that we weren't going to be there in time and they were kind enough to move us to the next tour. Our driver (George) made the tour so enjoyable. He took the time to meet everyone and introduce them to each other. He remembered everyone's name and mentioned everyone by name throughout the tour. We had so much fun. We got to see many star's homes and traveled along Mulholland Dr, Rodeo Dr, Route 66, Beverly Hills and much more. It was well worth the cost of the tour. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the area up close and personal.

This was a great way to see this large city in a snapshot! We were able to learn a lot and go back to the places where we wanted to spend more time.

The captain was really nice kept behind the whale for a while till everyone got to see the whale, he gave out lot of info on the Dolphins also..

I’ve always wanted to do this tour and finally did! Totally worth it! My tour guide Jeff was the best and made the experience even better!!
