Explore the Amazon on a 3-day guided tour. Take a trip on the river, meet a local tribe, and admire stunning jungle landscapes. Day 1After pickup from Iquitos airport, head straight to the Port of Nanay to board a boat. Sail to where the Nanay River meets the Amazon. Take a 2.5-hour trip along the Amazon River to the lodge where you will be staying. Enjoy lunch and a chance to relax in the lodge's hammock room. Next, visit an eco-butterfly farm and a riverside eco-village. Return to the lodge for dinner before spotting tarantulas, snakes, insects, and birds on a night excursion. Day 2Get up early to watch the sunrise. Spot herons, eagles, parakeets, and exotic birds. Then, return to the lodge for breakfast and free time. After lunch, fish for piranhas and more. Enjoy the sunset, followed by dinner and traditional Amazonian tales back at the lodge. Day 3After breakfast, set off on a botanical plant walk and search for lianas. Enjoy lunch at the lodge before checking out and heading back to Iquitos. From there, be transferred to your hotel or the airport by motorcycle taxi.

Journey to the Amazon Rainforest for a two-day guided excursion by boat and on foot. Enjoy a glimpse into the rhythm of jungle life as you navigate waterways, search for wildlife, and discover medicinal plants and their uses. Along the way, immerse yourself in indigenous history and traditions. Your tour begins when you meet your guide at the airport or hotel for pickup. Travel to the Nanay River Port, where you'll embark on a riverboat and head towards the Nanay and Amazon river crossing. At the Itaya-Amazon crossing, pause to search for dolphins. Cruise along for 2.5 hours. Admire the sights and sounds of the rainforest as you continue your tour, navigating through the tributary, Río Yanayacu. Arrive at the hostel and enjoy a welcome and lunch. After your meal, set out on a hike to spot medicinal plants, strangler trees, sloths, toucans, and other diurnal species. As the sunlight begins to wane, soak up the sight of the sunset over the rainforest before partaking in dinner. Once the night has set in, embark again on an evening walk – this time to search for tarantulas, amphibians, alligators, and more nocturnal fauna. Then, return to the lodge to rest. The following morning, rise early to bask in the rays of the sunrise and see the swooping flocks of herons, eagles, parrots, and other exotic birds. Tuck into your breakfast, then explore the Yanayacu River. Fish for piranhas, palometas, and tarpon and look for iguanas. Spend the rest of the morning rafting and admiring the diversity of plant life. If you wish, you‘ll also have the opportunity to visit the Yaguas community. Have lunch and enjoy about 1.5 hours of leisure time before departing for Iquitos, where you'll be taken back to the hotel or airport. 

We will start the tour from the Iquitos boulevard, then we will walk (or take a vehicle) to the Belen market, famous for selling exotic meats such as: rare fish, lizard meat, turtle meat, paiche, among others. We will also visit the "Paquito" passage where natural Amazonian medicine is sold, such as root drinks with aphrodisiac properties and amulets, then we will navigate through the lower part of Belen where the houseboats are located to navigate through its streets such as La Venecia Loretana. Then we will return to the starting point. This tour will show the other face of the city, an ancient city and life on the river, ideal to discover the social face of the city. As an added bonus, we will invite you to fish for piranhas (optional).

Set sail from the pier of the Iquitos Boulevard and cruise down the Itaya River to meet the Amazon River. Visit a center that specializes in the breeding of paiches, fish also known as piracuru, as well as piranhas, macaws, lizards, and turtles. For a one-of-a-kind experience, try feeding these animals. Head to the great pond filled with the famous Victoria amazonica lily pads, the world’s largest leaves. Then, proceed to the Amazon viewpoint, which promises magical vistas over the legendary surrounding landscape. Enjoy some downtime on the hammocks, while taking in impressive views of the jungle and the Amazon River. Then, take a 15-minute walk into the jungle to see the gigantic and mythical Lupuna tree, said to possess magical properties and considered the protectors of the jungle. Before returning to the city, visit the Serpentary, where you can see the anaconda’s cage.

Your tour will begin when you set sail from your meeting point at the pier of Iquitos Boulevard, cruising down the three main rivers surrounding the city of Iquitos: Itaya, Amazonas, and Nanay.  Once you’re out on the Amazon, you might see dolphins and red buffaloes swimming around you. You’ll then continue on past the city before stopping to meet the indigenous community of the Kukama, where you’ll have the chance to get to know their dances and customs and to learn about their culture.  After the visit, you’ll take a walk along the shore of the community of Father Cocha and learn about the curious history of its founder. In a nearby location, you’ll visit the Pilpintuwasi, a butterfly farm where you'll learn about the life cycles and breeding habits of these beautiful creatures. When the tour ends, you’ll return by boat to Iquitos Boulevard.

Take a break from the pollution and noise of the city on this guided tour of the Amazon jungle. In the afternoon, experience piranha fishing, swim in the Amazon river, and admire pink and grey dolphins. On the last day, further explore the jungle by trekking, and stop by the 500-year old Huimba tree. Marvel at its imposing height of up to 160 feet and width of 10 feet in diameter. Afterward, enjoy one last lunch at the lodge before heading back to the airport or your hotel.

Day 1 - Transportation from the hotel you have booked (in Leticia) to the dock where we will be waiting for you, public boat transportation to Puerto Nariño. General information from the guides and check-in of private rooms, you will start discovering our town in which 3 different indigenous communities share a living, visiting the monkey spotting place to interact with them and having a delicious typical lunch. In the afternoon, you will go on a small boat to spot pink and grey dolphins. At night you will have the Tarantula Night Safari and a typical dinner. Accommodation will be done in private rooms, with private bathrooms and electricity. Day 2 - Breakfast, We will navigate from Puerto Nariño for 15 minutes to Peru and then enter the longest and mightiest river in the world, the Amazon, a natural wonder of the World. You will arrive in San Antonio where you will do an amazing jungle trail to spot the biggest species of trees in the Amazon. Opportunity to spot wildlife during the trail. Typical Lunch in the Community. After lunch, you will explore the Tarapoto lakes, pink and grey dolphins, and animal sightseeing on the shore of the lake. At night you will do the night tour safari on a boat. Accommodation will be done in private rooms, with private bathrooms and electricity (same room). Day 3 - Breakfast, You will explore a jungle trekking on a different landscape with hills, visit a native reserve and have the opportunity to spot monkeys and bird watching. Typical lunch and visit the Puerto Nariño Sightseeing tower, try delicious natural ice cream and transfer to Leticia with the 3 pm boat arriving around 5 pm. We will give you the transfer to hotels in Leticia Area.

Refuel with breakfast before starting an excursion to visit a riverside habitat where you can find non-poisonous constrictors, sloths, turtles, and other unique wildlife. Roll up your sleeves and learn how to make artisanal juice using sugarcane, then savor the flavors of your creation. Return to the lodge for a typical lunch. Visit Pueblo de la Ribera, and watch the sunset (weather permitting) before dinner and another night in the lodge. Day 3:Enjoy breakfast before fishing on the banks of the Amazon River for catfish, piranhas, and more. Observe the Victoria Regia, the largest aquatic plant in the world, before returning to the lodge for lunch. Later, tour the contour of the area, learning about the plants and trees by the riverside whose fruits are used for their medicinal power. Admire the historic rubber (balata) tree, cedar, and the voluptuous Lupuna. Sleep overnight at the lodge after dinner. Day 4:Have breakfast before joining a canoe excursion on the banks of the Amazon to observe birds, iguanas, and other local wildlife. Enjoy free time to read, rest in one of the hammocks, and take photos of the view. Following lunch, depart back to Iquitos for hotel drop-off. On the way, visit the native community of Bora Bora to learn about the community's customs, dialect, clothing, and typical dances. Bring objects to exchange for local handmade crafts.
