Experience a thrilling 5-hour snowmobile adventure from Longyearbyen to the old Soviet mining town of Colesbay. Enjoy a guided tour with lunch in the field, and hotel transfers included.

Meet your guide and receive a briefing and safety instructions. Depart to Colesbay by route: Longyearbyen – Fardalen – Colesdalen (snowmobiling: 30-35 km, 1.5-2 hours one way). Visit the old soviet mining town Colesbay and enjoy an expedition lunch amidst the Arctic’s natural beauty.

Return to Longyearbyen by snowmobile via a different route (snowmobiling: 30-35 km, 1.5-2 hours one way). Transfer to your place of accommodation.

The tour to Colesbay was amazing. Our guides delivered the safety instructions very well, and we felt comfortable driving the snowmobiles. We stopped along the way to take pictures and for the guides to give us more information about the scenery. We also stopped at an ice cave. Colesbay was beautiful in the icy sunshine and the guide provided us with information about the abandoned village and the coal mine. They made sure we were warm and cozy throughout the whole trip and got the best experience.
