We were a group of 3 on this tour on 11th July 2025. Everything about this tour exceeded our expectations. For "Derry Girls "fans -like us -the Tour was so special providing background and context to the show. The location sights were stunning and brought the episodes to life. The route showed Derry at its finest and the walk along the Walls gave us spectacular views across the city. Our tour guide- Angela - was OUTSTANDING-and I cannot thank her enough for her enthusiasm and energy from the outset and her knowledge of Derry GIrls. What made this Tour so amazing and unforgettable was Angelas passion and expertise of all things "City of Derry" from the history, the politics ,the characters, the architecture, the education, the development, the food, the independent shops. Angela really made Derry Girls come to life on this tour -and her wonderful personality, her charisma and her friendly interest and engagement with each of us on the Tour -made it so special and such FUN.
David was a tremendous guide. He was accommodating and attentive. He was well informed and made our excursion a wonderful experience. It has been 4 days since our trip and we continue to talk about it, particularly how lucky we were to have David show us this incredible country.
Getting to know the historical background of “Legendary” better. Very good tour guide.
The guide was very knowledgeable and impartial about political issues.
