We were very lucky with the weather and the Cliffs are beautiful. Whoever didn't choose to visit Dover Castle (like us) had ample time to walk/hike along the Cliffs (2 hours) and take in the beauty. We heard from other travellers on the bus that you could easily spend a full day in the Castle, so bear in mind that for less than 2h it will be a limited visit. The stop in Canterbury is short (2h), so there's little time to visit many things. If you sit down for lunch there, or visit the Cathedral, you won't have much time for other sights. Though these places are quite far from London (2h each way), it's understandable that the stops are not too long. I'd say if your main goal is to visit the Cliffs, the tour is well worth it and you can squeeze in a quaint English town in the same day. If you mainly want to visit Canterbury, you might want to just get a train straight to the town and back to London for a full day of sightseeing.

I had an incredible trip to the Cliffs of Dover and Canterbury, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our tour guide, Tom, was absolutely amazing. His knowledge of the history and culture of the area was impressive, and he made the whole journey so engaging and informative. Additionally, Sean, our driver, added an extra layer of fun to the trip. His friendly demeanor and sense of humor made the long drives between destinations enjoyable. Together, Tom and Sean made this trip a memorable and delightful experience that I won't forget. Thank you for such a fantastic tour!

The day trip was absolutely lovely! Lucy was a gem and made sure we were all comfortable and intriguing informed by all the fun history bits from the area. I personally loved all the ghost stories ;) Looking back I wish I’d stayed at the White Cliffs instead of going along to Diver Castle with the group. I quite enjoy discovering nature with a book in hand, but figured I’md follow the tour for History’s sake. Minor regrets there as I was happy to do the 1 or two guided tours at Dover Castle, but as war and stuff isn’t my main inspiration, I ended up a little bored after that. My suggestion if you love war and history; go along with the group to Dover Castle. If you’re more of a nature, buff like me; definitely stick to the white cliffs until the bus comes back. My absolute favorite part had to be Canterbury, I was so impressed by the small, medieval city, and had no idea I would enjoy it as much as I did. Very thankful to have discovered this little city thanks to this awesome tour.
