Rob was excellent and very knowledgeable. The meetup directions were very clear which was incredibly helpful. Before we went over to the opening ceremony, he had some printed out copies of specific things in the crown jewels exhibit to look out for, which was particularly helpful! This wasn't a super structured tour - he would tell us where things were and make recommendations, but if you're looking for a ton of hand holding, this probably isn't for you. My gut is that since they're an external tour operator, they are limited about what they can guide us through inside. The folks inside were helpful when we asked questions, and glad we had a heads up from Rob on the various personality types of the Beefeaters. Super helpful. Tower Bridge was neat also! The biggest "worth it" part of this tour was being there for the opening ceremony of the tower and early access to the crown jewels. We were literally the first people there, and the group was manageable (about 20). Highly recommend!

Fascinating and thorough history of all the things the Tower of London has been used for, as told by Don W, our fabulous guide. I wouldn’t have gotten nearly as much out of the visit without a guide and Don was brilliant. Nice pace. Highly recommend. It was bonus to see the opening ceremony up close and the impressive tower bridge to start and end the tour, respectively.

Great tour with excellent guide. It was good to meet the beefeater who told us about the Kings keys and to see the opening of the Tour. It was good to miss the crowds by having early access and we could view the Crown Jewels easily before the crowds. After we finished at the tour of London we were given our tickets for Tower Bridge and could again miss the crowds and view the bridge and engine room at our leisure.
