What a shame that right at the start most people who joined the ‘Online purchase’ queue got up to the front, only to be told that they had to join the other very long queue! It should have been made clear that the ‘Online purchase’ queue was for those who had printed tickets only. Most people who bought tickets online, but had their tickets on their mobile phones, had to join another long queue. The Glass Sculpture itself was magnificent and I would have given the Activity 5 stars, but for the appalling queuing system.
I would 100% go back to Harry Potter, but would not book with a tour as they don't leave enough time to get the full experience, go on your own and leave on your own, it's not hard to get there. They only give you about 4 hours to see it with a tour that picks you up and dops you off and I ended up missing the bus and luckily got on the second (not everyone will) but I could have used at least two more hours there than they alloted us.
Enjoyed the ride but not so much the video I paid for. Staff advised me to keep my head up off the slide but didn’t warn me that unless I made an effort to ride in sitting up position that only my chin would be captured on the video. On plus side, there is a small senior discount if you are 60 and above
I would recommend purchasing a travel pass prior to visiting these sites as it can get expensive. The site is nice with lots of information and being able to go up to the very top is a breath taking experience. I would highly recommend it
Windsor Castle was just amazing. We were lucky enough to be able to climb the tower. It is so worth the money, but you really need a whole day to see the castle properly. Don’t forget to go to the church as well.
