Wonderful, my partner and I did this for my birthday 🎂 I wore a nice dress and we took many photos. We booked at 8pm to see the sunset and what a beautiful sunset it was such an amazing view of the entire city looks beautiful in both daylight and night light. The staff were extremely friendly, fun and very attentive and really down to earth. The bar was well stocked and we ordered some cocktails and the bar staff were so much fun and really great to talk to. Lots of visitors but not crowded. On arrival we had our photos taken with a plain backdrop and at the end of our visit which by the way we could stay as long as we liked it closed at 10pm. We had a QR code to see our amazing photos with so many different backdrops of the Shard and the views and also some creative backdrops of things iconic with London. We bought all the digital images for £18 sent to our email address and got a free little booklet photo album. Such a fabulous experience. We would definitely do it again.

Watch the streets of London fall away as you climb to Western Europe’s tallest viewing platform on the 72nd floor of The Shard. With a flexible ticket, spend as much time as you like enjoying panoramic views of the city, with visibility of up to 40 miles.

Test your limits and step outside onto the open viewing platform on the 72nd floor, or admire the views from inside. Learn about London’s history through multimedia displays and exhibits, or simply sit back and enjoy the view from the champagne bar. 

The Shard redefines London’s skyline and will soon be a dynamic symbol of the city, recognizable throughout the world. The unique building features a sculpted design of glass facets that incline inward without meeting at the top to allow the building to breathe naturally.

Sneak a glance upward at the points of glass that form the top of the building, which reaches a height of 1,016 feet (310 meters). Finish up your journey in the boutique, where you can purchase a souvenir photograph.
