Full description

Embark on a full-day bus tour along the west of London to the Georgian city of Bath and the prehistoric stone circle of Stonehenge on Salisbury Plain. Learn about the region from your guide. En route to Stonehenge, hear about the mysteries surrounding the prehistoric site from your guide. On arrival, make your way to the visitor’s center before boarding a shuttle. Enjoy roughly 90 minutes at Stonehenge, with plenty of time for refreshments before you depart. Take a scenic drive into the English countryside on your way to Bath. Pass the traditional villages and lush pastures of Wiltshire, Somerset, and Avon. Arrive at Bath and see the Roman Baths, once the most famous hot springs in Europe.

Admire the famous Royal Crescent and meticulous Georgian architecture on a sightseeing bus tour through the city. Your guide will recommend the best places to see, shop, and eat before you explore the city on your own. Be returned to London after.

We had Darren as our guide to Stonehenge and Bath, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. He was so kind, and clearly has so much knowledge and enthusiasm regarding our destinations. He was very willing to answer any and all of our questions, and was all-around an amazing tour guide. Also, we had a great amount of time at each stop! 10/10 recommend!!!

A rewarding day trip to more destinations. Our guide was friendly and happy to provide information about places to visit and more during our bus trip. The bus was modern and comfortable. I recommend it for a day trip if you want to see more than just the city. The town of Bath was gorgeous but great. It is worth considering in advance what you want to do there. I recommend a trip!

Stonehenge is magical. We lost track of time. It's not always that you get to witness humanity's history in front of your bare eyes. Bath is the cutest little town and the Roman Bathouse is amazing. So so much food for the soul. Well worth the visit on both sites. Gareth was a great guide too!
