Full description

Take a tour of the timeless Tower of London – part of British history since the 11th century. This UNESCO World Heritage Site was built in 1086 by William the Conqueror.  Discover London’s castle – a secure fortress, royal palace, and infamous prison. Spot the ravens that live on the premises and find out why they are known as the guardians of the Tower.

Stroll across Tower Green to see where many executions took place, including those of 2 of Henry VIII's wives. You will also have access to the inside of the tower. Prepare to be dazzled by the Crown Jewels of the United Kingdom. These priceless symbols of the British Monarchy compose the greatest working collection of crown jewels in the world.

Pore over the 23,578 gems, including the glistening Imperial State Crown - this piece alone has 2,868 diamonds, 273 pearls, 17 sapphires, 11 emeralds, and 5 rubies. Gain valuable insights into the Towers History from some of its most famous residents, The Yeoman Body. Whilst Tours may be currently unavailable, the Yeoman Warders will be on hand to provide fascinating stories of the Tower through the ages.

WOW, so much to see and do. The Crown Jewels display was just so amazing but also very powerful in thought provoking when you see the State Crown was missing as it was lying on HRH Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 11 coffin whilst she was lying in state at Westminster Hall. The central tower housing all the Coats of Armour was also amazing. Well worth a visit, but make sure you have your climbing legs on as over 217 steps to top of tower.

An exceptional day of viewing and learning. Much more to the venue than originally anticipated! Make sure you have plenty of time to see everything, at least 3 hours. Take a break in their lovely cafe in between. Don't miss this experience, wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to climb some stairs!

Excellent trip well worth a visit. Definitely worth buying tickets before you get there so you don't have to queue to buy them on arrival. A good days trip it says allow 90 mins for your trip but you could certainly spend a lot longer there than that. Great to see Crown jewels. We were lucky must have been a quiet day no queue to get in. Not a good place to visit if you are not good on your feet or can't manage steps because there are lots and lots and lots! So if you are not good on your feet this is not the trip for you!
