I was glad we had booked the first slot as the Brentford Gate car park (with Blue Badge parking) filled up quickly. Due to extra security, getting into anywhere is more time consuming at the moment, but once we were into the gardens, we felt safe wandering around. There are toilets almost immediately, with a separate huge accessible one. I walk with two crutches so was glad to reach the cafe area to grab a drink and rest. Only 2 adults are currently allowed into the excellent children’s play area which is understandable, so our family group had to split up so my 2 year old great niece could have fun, which I was sad to miss. We did not go any further on this visit as the purpose of our visit was to see each other in a safe outdoors environment. It’s worth checking exactly what still remains open due to current Covid restrictions.
It is a good experience for both adults and kids. The view of the city from the boat is amazing and you also have the opportunity to know fun facts about the buildings. The musical selection is very nice, the music could be annoying for the ones with sensibility, for us it was cool. Our guide was Stacey, she is AMAZING and our driver was Adam, I really recommend. We enjoyed a lot.
Myself and my nephew (15) enjoyed going from Little Venice to Camden on the canal boat. We heard about some of the history of his stretch of canal and the famous residents whose houses and gardens were beside the canal. The weather was wet and grey but we were fine and dry inside the boat.
Me & my missus both loved the experience & the views were truly breathtaking for our first ever visit can’t wait to come back but do it at nighttime for obvious reasons the staff were so friendly & the gift shop was nice when we collected our souvenir photo album
12 year old son loved the experience and wanted to do it again. Pod shared with another small family but able to socially distance with no issues. Great way to see the famous landmarks, except Tower Bridge, it cannot be seen
