Covid-19 Update

Due to health and safety regulations, this itinerary may change. See Know before you go for the latest updates.

Walk in the footsteps of your favorite wizards (and witches) around Muggle London. Your Harry Potter enthusiast guide will be armed with weird and wonderful trivia all along the way.  After meeting your guide, start your adventure by finding out which Hogwarts’ House you belong in. Then compete against other Houses in an interactive quiz as you see the sites that inspired J.K. Rowling, from Shakespeare's Globe to the narrow London alleys that inspired the likes of Knockturn Alley. Highlights include passing The Leaky Cauldron, the secret wizarding inn. Explore the real Diagon Alley, where Harry buys his first wand. Even see the bridge destroyed by the Death Eaters in "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince".  For part of your guided tour, choose either a short boat trip down the Thames or take the world-famous London Underground. Both the boat and Underground options follow this itinerary:  1. Southwark Cathedral 2. 800-year-old Borough Market 3. Sir Francis Drake's world-famous Golden Hinde 4. Winchester Palace 5. 900-year-old Clink Prison 6. Shakespeare's Globe 7. Millennium Bridge 8. Daniel Radcliffe's School 9. The London Eye 10. River Thames 11. Sherlock Holmes' Pub 12. Great Scotland Yard 13. Gringotts Wizarding Bank 14. The world's smallest police station 15. Trafalgar Square 16. Knockturn Alley 17. Diagon Alley 18. Palace Theatre
  • 2.5-hour guided tour

The Harry Potter Walking Tour was a lot of fun. At the beginning we were sorted into houses and got to spend the whole tour winning points through answering Harry Potter related questions for our house. On the tour we also got to see places that weren't Harry Potter related to. The only thing we were a bit disappointed by was that when we were told we were getting a boat ride we thought it would be after the walking and not as a means of transportation to travel to the next part of the tour. If people didn't opt for the boat ride then how are they meant to get to the second half of the tour?

Such a fun way to see London. The Harry Potter element was informative & fun (you don't have to be full on HP mad). Tour guide Nic knew his stuff and kept everyone engaged. Myself & 18 years old daughter (who is HP mad) had a thoroughly fab time. (If you opt for the river cruise option you get a different view of London from the Thames). Money well spent!

It's so worth the experience. Our guide Anais was exceptionally warm and friendly. She explained all areas in detail and showed us how certain scenes in the movies looked in contrast to real areas in London. She was clear and audible with her explanations. She always kept a look out for all group members and kept the group excited and entertained throughout the whole experience.
