Full description
Start with a walking tour of the history, culture, and legends of one of Europe’s best-loved cities. Head through Green Park to Buckingham Palace, watch the world-famous Changing of the Guard ceremony. Head to Westminster, see Downing Street, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, and the Houses of Parliament. See 30 sights in one day, including: • Buckingham Palace • Trafalgar Square • Changing of the Guard • Big Ben • Downing Street • Westminster Abbey • Whitehall • Houses of Parliament • London Eye • Shakespeare’s Globe Theater • London Bridge • Southwark Cathedral • The Shard (tallest skyscraper in the EU) • HMS Belfast (Second World War Battleship) • Square Mile • Tower Bridge • Tower of London Then, head to Westminster Abbey. Since the coronation of William the Conqueror in 1066, all coronations of English and British monarchs have been in Westminster Abbey. There have been 16 royal weddings at the abbey since 1100. Henry III rebuilt the abbey in honor of a royal saint, Edward the Confessor, whose relics were placed in a shrine in the sanctuary. Henry III himself was interred nearby, as were many of the Plantagenet kings of England, their wives, and other relatives. Until the death of George II in 1760, most kings and queens were buried in the abbey.

The guide was exceptional! There was a little confusion with my ticket to get into Westminster Abby. My whole group had the 1:30 time slot and we had 3:30. Our walking tour was over at 1:30. This was not the guide's fault at all. He suggested we try to get in anyway and we were able to. I was glad he made the suggestion. Guide was knowledgeable, engaging and fun! I would like the group to be smaller.

This tour was perfect! I only had 2 days in London and I am so glad I chose this 30 sights tour. Our guide Clint was warm, funny, approachable, and so incredibly knowledgeable! It was so great to see so many historical sights, memorials, and landmarks while learning about them all. It was a perfect way to see the most things with not a lot of time. And we loved all of Clint's stories and not-so-well-known tidbits of information! I especially enjoyed that the tour was limited to 10 people and the leisurely pace was great. Clint was open and wonderful about all our questions and even stuck around after the tour to offer suggestions on restaurants, directions, etc. I cannot say enough great things about Clint and our 30 Sights of London Tour - Highly Recommend!

Cliff was a great guide. I could have wandered the streets by myself but would never have known all the great information and stories that he shared. It was a perfect way to see so many sites in one day. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone who has little time or lots of time in London. I also booked a London Tower ticket and when inadvertently put my incorrect email address, I called and was taken care of so quickly and with a very friendly person as well. Whole experience with "getyourguide" just great. On time to start and finish, with great communication all along the way.
