Full description
Travel from picturesque Little Venice to vibrant Camden Market along the Regent's Canal. This waterway is a leisurely corridor through London, navigated by leisure boats and lined with quirky houseboats. You'll pass by Regent’s Park, the grounds of London Zoo and through the echoey depths of the 248 meter Maida Hill tunnel. Each boat has slide opening windows throughout, so everyone gets a view. As you pass through London Zoo, keep an eye out for warthogs and African hunting dogs, which can often be seen as the boat passes their canal-side enclosure. Travel past the homes of well-known musicians, actors and celebrities. You will also be able to see the expansive and landscaped back gardens of grand houses used by ambassadors and visiting international diplomats. Arrive in the heart of Camden Market, home to a vast array of world class traders and international cuisines.

A very pleasant trip along the canal from the picturesque little Venice to Camden. It’s hard to believe that we were in London as it felt like we were on holiday. Very knowledgeable skipper who also had a great sense of humour and made the trip fun. We even sang happy birthday to other fellow day trippers. Would definitely recommend

It was a very pleasant cruise down Regent's canl. I really liked the scenery we passed, with a great diversity of sights from railway bridges to mansions to 19th century tunnels to other houseboats. Overall it was quite relaxing too. Shame the live commenting was rather quiet so it was quite hard to hear it.

The lady checking our tickets was somewhat abrupt with us and nice with others especially those with kids. The guide on the boat had a great sense of humour and presented the tour with knowledge and professionalism whilst keeping the atmosphere light. We did unfortunately have a hiccup as we had to wait for oncoming boats to pass the tunnel for almost half an hour which resulted in us wasting time and arriving late at Camden market with most stalls almost closing. My recommendation would be to install traffic lights rather than employing a ranger at both ends of the tunnel.
