Full description
As the last glimmer of sunlight touches the top of London's skyscrapers, closer to ground, the illuminations begin. Lights of landmarks flicker into life, bridge bulbs give a glow to the Thames, roads are lit up by headlights from buses and black cabs and neon signs grow brighter as the night grows longer. It’s a man-made photographer’s paradise, waiting to be explored by your camera. Discover the Square Mile from a photographer’s point of view on this nighttime photography workshop and use your camera to create stories through images. Setting off from Liverpool Street Station at ‘golden hour’ just before sunset, weave your way through the City of London towards the foot of Tower Bridge. En route, take in skyline defining skyscrapers and historic architectural treasures, and admire how the two sit side-by-side to form a contrasting cityscape that’s unlike anything else in the world.
