Full description
The London Dungeon is a uniquely thrilling attraction that will whisk you way back to the capital’s most perilous past. See, hear and feel the chillingly amusing characters of the 'bad old days’ as they come to life before you. Step inside Sweeney Todd’s infamous barber shop on Fleet Street and let him give your life a short back and sides. Then tread cautiously through the streets of Whitechapel, as Jack the Ripper could be lurking just around the corner. End your visit by being sentenced for your crimes and sent to Newgate Prison Ride to Doom. On the off chance you survive all of that, round off your journey with a visit to the Dungeon Tavern; hear the latest gossip and share a drink with the locals.

Amazing!! So glad we did this, it was my favourite part of our trip. The boat ride, the death fall, you just don’t know what to expect at each part. The actors are amazing it is funny, kind of scary, personally I wouldn’t recommend for young kids there is a few bits in complete darkness and things that made me jump and I’m 34. I was surprised how many people had small kids there even in prams. Each to their own but my 7 and 9 year olds would have been wanting out after 5 minutes. I found out so much about London history too. Highly recommend, but from about 12/13 up.

My daughter is 14 and we both thoroughly enjoyed the dungeons. The actors were funny and it wasn't boring. It was alittle bit if a history story telling walk and rude but nothing too heavy more of a fun theme. It could be too scary for young children. There was a 11 year girl whom was crying because it is alittke dark and spooky and makes you jump at times. But having said all that it is a fun thing to do.

It was great although I slightly regret booking it for my 5 year old she got so scared especially at the beginningas the water ride was completelyin the dark. I know it says when booking children over 12 however i feel children below that age should not be permitted entry period and this should be explicitly stated when booking.
