Full description
The London Dungeon is a uniquely thrilling attraction that will whisk you way back to the capital’s most perilous past. See, hear and feel the chillingly amusing characters of the 'bad old days’ as they come to life before you. Step inside Sweeney Todd’s infamous barber shop on Fleet Street and let him give your life a short back and sides. Then tread cautiously through the streets of Whitechapel, as Jack the Ripper could be lurking just around the corner. End your visit by being sentenced for your crimes and sent to Newgate Prison Ride to Doom. On the off chance you survive all of that, round off your journey with a visit to the Dungeon Tavern; hear the latest gossip and share a drink with the locals.

Second time visiting London Dungeon within 1 month because I had to visit the theater with my two daughters on their trip to London. Anyways.. The first time I was simply terrified of the unknown and the scary, but I think the experience was completely fantastic - and scary, but in a good way. You are taken through a story, many stories in fact, the actors and the entire set-up are complete and the actors are incredibly committed. I wouldn't take very young children or elderly people, because you get a lot of shock along the way and your child also needs to be able to fully understand English to understand the content.

We did not know how long it would take in advance and had other bookings to follow. It was about 1 hour and 15 minutes. In our party of four I was one who has difficulty standing for periods of time and for me the standing was a bit much. I would recommend it to others with that in mind.

Fun for adults and older children, exciting and funny at the same time. It is a popular tourist attraction which makes you feel like it has become a bit of assembly line work for the artists and staff. Too bad because the actors (and sets) are good, but they sometimes have to rush for the next group...
